Sacramento bicyclist not expected to survive accident

A Lodi man, Atenogenes "Teno" Zaragoza,who was involved in a car vs bicycle accident April 15, 2007 is not expected to survive the severe injuries he suffered. The accident occurred on Wright Street between Howe and Fulton Avenues.

According to a recent article, there has been a 47% increase in bicycle accidents in the past year in Sacramento.

Eight out of 10 fatal bicycle accidents involve a car striking the bicycle from behind.
